Your map will be Made to Order.

For personalized orders – a preview will be sent out quickly by email. Printing will only begin when I receive your approval of the artwork. Prints typically ship out within 2 business days and Push Pin Maps within 5-6 business days of receiving your approval.

For non-personalized orders – Printing of your map can begin straight away so a print would typically ship out within 2 business days and Push Pin Maps within 5-6 business days of ordering.

We create designs in the order we receive them. 

The Current Proof Turnaround is : within 2 business days.

When ordering a personalized map, please add your requests to the notes area before adding the map to your cart.  Once your order is placed, a digital proof will be emailed to you from proofs@happyplacemaps.com. 

Current Proof Turnaround is 2 Business Days

• The turnaround is quite quick so to avoid delays, please watch out for an email and check junk/spam folders. 

Please reply with your proof approval or any changes you would like. Changes can be made until you are 100% happy. 

• Your order will only progress to the printing stage after we receive your proof-approval reply. If we don’t hear, your order will be canceled and refunded after 30 days. 

For non-personalized orders -  We’ll know you don’t need personalization if you type “No Proof Needed”. Your map will go straight into production and you will receiving shipping notification and tracking link. 

• Note: if the map design is shown with a title, it will come with that title. If you would like it removed or changes, please request that change in the personalization notes and a proof will be send.  

Any Happy Place Map can be personalized and the options are flexible. If you see a preferred legend or font on a different map, just make a note and I will use that one. 

• If you are buying a map with a title, it will come with the title seen in the first listing photo but it can be changed or removed. Just add your request in the personalization notes and you will receive a preview to approve before printing begins. 

• If you are buying a map with no title shown in the example, you can request to add one. Just add detailed personalization notes and a proof will be sent for you to check before is it printed and shipped. 

Yes – there’s plenty of flexibility. Just choose the personalized style option and then add your detailed changes in the personalization notes.

Remember to add any font preference if you have one.

For peace of mind - you will also have a chance to preview an artwork proof and approve it before printing.

Yes. We do this all the time. If you have the rights or permission to use the logo artwork please just use the contact us page before ordering to make this request.

• If you choose one of the push pin maps, they will come ready-to-hang with a smooth archival artist-quality backing making it suitable for using push pins. 

• If you choose one of the map poster prints, it will arrive rolled in a sturdy packing tube.  These are not designed to hold push pins but special places can still be marked. For example some customers use colored pencils, inks, paint or even colorful thread on the canvas prints. To be able to use push pins I recommend mounting on foamboard and framed for protection. 

• There’s a huge range of pin colors and styles available I find customers prefer to select pins most suited to their taste and the style of their map.
  
• I recommend short stem pins designed for maps or pin boards. A stem of less that 3/4 “ is recommended.
  
• The type of pin is a personal choice. As described pins are not included but should be easily found either locally or online.
  There’s a huge range of colors and styles. My favorite is the round head map pin.📍
  
• In case it helps, I have done some research for you and have created a list here with some easy shopping links. There is a huge range of colors, even wooden ones and gorgeous metallics that I believe would look lovely with many Happy Place Maps.
