Shipping policy
Contact me before ordering if you have a tight timeframe, I can usually accommodate most situations.
DELIVERY
Depending on the product and size your map will be shipped using FedEx, UPS or USPS in sturdy packaging to ensure a safe delivery.
P.O. BOX RESTRICTIONS
Mounted items cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box so I will request a street address where applicable.
TRACKING
A tracking number is provided in an email update where possible and any delayed packages are followed up quickly. So, please contact me if you are experiencing a delay with your shipment.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Your map is made specifically for you.
- Proof Stage
For Personalized orders: If you requested personalization, your proof will be emailed in the timeframe stated on the product page (usually 2 business days). Once a final proof is approved, production will begin immediately and will typically be ready to ship 4-5 business days later.
- Printing Stage
You can typically expect your map to arrive within 7-14 days from the time of ordering (for unpersonalized orders) or from the time we receive your proof approval (for personalized orders)
If you didn’t request any personalization your map then standard production time will be 4-5 business days. (2-3 business days for unmounted poster prints)
Shipping typically takes 3-7 days.
To avoid disappointment, if you have a certain date in mind to receive your product please contact me to discuss the likelihood of meeting your time-frame.
DO YOU SHIP TO COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE USA?
At this time, this site is unable to take international orders but a map print may be able to be ordered from happyplaceartmaps.com for international delivery.
I AM ORDERING A MAP AS A GIFT. CAN I HAVE THE MAP SENT DIRECTLY TO THE GIFT RECIPIENT?
Absolutely. Please add the lucky gift recipient’s address in the shipping section at checkout. No invoice or pricing details will be included in the packaging.

Free USA Shipping
- This includes all 50 states.
- This applies to 100% of orders, large or small.
- PO Boxes can’t be used, so be sure to supply a street address. For APO addresses please contact me first so I can work with you, as this can be difficult for larger items.
- Tracking is included on all orders and can be found on your shipping confirmation email.
Discounts & Sales
- I do run sales at certain times throughout the year. Make sure you are the first to know by subscribing to our mailing list. Start and end dates are strictly automated based on ET timezone.
- Other discount codes are not valid during a sale.
- Sales and discounts don’t apply when purchasing a Gift Card.
- Gift Cards can be used to make a purchase during a sale.
Proof Process
A proof can be requested for any order for peace of mind. Just add a note in the order before checking out.
- If you have ordered personalization for your map, you will always receive an artwork proof. This will need to be approved before printing can start. If I don’t hear from you, I will resend the proof notification but if I don’t receive a reply within 30 days, your order will be canceled and fully refunded. If you want to save time and happy to risk it, please type "no proof needed" and it will go straight to printing but won't be eligible for a refund if incorrect.
Please check your proof carefully. Any typos will not be eligible for a refund or exchange if it has been approved during the proof approval process.
- All customers should receive an email notification when the order reaches the printing stage. If you haven’t received this within a few days, please check to see if there has been a proof or a query from us emailed to you that is awaiting your approval.
- Please check the description and any proof images carefully. Once your map is in the printing stage, no changes can be made to your artwork.
